Our SAPHIR SinusCut knife roller is characterised by its unique coiled double knife rollers. This achieves a rolling andcutting behaviour that has never been achieved before. The roller runs particularly smoothly even at high working speeds and therefore maintains the working depth very precisely. The knife roller is therefore ideal for shredding catch crops and for rape and maize stubble cultivation. It splits up the stubble to stimulate the rotting process and prevent insect pests a place of refuge. SAPHIR knife rollers can also be used in combination with other soil tillage implements, such as a disc harrow or a large spring tine harrow, in order to combine several operations and use the implements even more efficiently.
The SAPHIR SinusCut 400, 501 & 601 cutter rollers have a hydraulic folding mechanism and have trhe versatility of a front and rear headstock. The standard steering support ensures optimum driving characteristics when front-mounted.
The SinusCut 301 at the front and the SinusCut 860 at the rear together offer a total working width of 8.55 metres. As an option, the SinusCut 860 can be equipped with a following harrow, which encourages sprouting seeds to germinate, produces fine soil, levels the surface and evenly distributes harvest residues. In addition, the following harrow enables the installation of a SAPHIR small seed spreader, with which catch crops can be sown in a single pass.
