SAPHIR Machinery is a division of Teneo Limited, a 100% wholly owned and operated New Zealand business. Teneo distributes SAPHIR machinery exclusively to the New Zealand, Australian and broader Oceania markets.

SAPHIR Maschinenbau leads with design and engineering, developing practical, robust, field proven technology systems that solve real operational challenges across grassland technology, soil cultivation, and farm, industrial, and municipal applications. Every machine is the product of rigorous, programmed quality controls managed directly by SAPHIR’s engineering team, guaranteeing high product quality, measurable outcomes, and full compliance with all relevant certifications and standards. Where performance and value are the benchmark, SAPHIR engineers the solution.
The equipment and components for SAPHIR machines are prefabricated at various production sites in Central Europe. Final assembly of the equipment is carried out according to customer-specific requirements and specifications. The construction of individual units and small series from prefabricated components is performed by experienced metalworkers and agricultural machinery mechanics at the Bockel site. Over 2,500 different pieces of equipment and components are constantly in stock.
SAPHIR Maschinenbau operates as a privately held company within the broader FRICKE Group environment, which provides distribution, spare parts, and service infrastructure across Europe. This connection is particularly relevant for aftermarket support and dealer access.
The Fricke Group is a group of companies based in Heeslingen, Lower Saxony. Fricke’s business activities include the Fricke Landmaschinen, one of the five largest agricultural machinery dealerships in Germany selling, servicing and repairing the likes of CLAAS, JOHN DEERE along with a whole suite of other world leading agricultural machinery brands. Another division is GRANIT, already available in New Zealand and Australia offering replacement parts for agricultural machinery, garden & forestry and construction machinery.
The Fricke Group has 107 locations worldwide in 28 countries. The company is still family-owned today.
