The SAPHIR ClearStar straw harrow enables efficient and cost-effective minimum tillage directly after combine harvesting. The sturdy, vibration-friendly 16 mm tines efficiently disperse straw nests, produce fine soil, ensure soil contact with the seed and encourage germination. On request, we also offer a knife roller for shredding harvest residues and the impulse bar as a cost-effective and stable alternative. The impulse rail breaks stems close to the ground in order to support rapid drying. This deprives diseases and pests of their habitat. As an option, we offer tines with a carbide coating ex works to ensure a longer service life. In combination with the SAPHIR AllStar large spring tine harrow in the second pass, a highly efficient system for controlling volunteer cereals and weeds is possible, which is an effective alternative to the use of herbicides. The SAPHIR ClearStar straw harrow is an essential component in the SAPHIR CleanField system to enable sustainable and efficient farming.
